As a reminder, you can purchase a ticket reservation starting June 26, 2021 at 12:00 PM PT on our Eventbrite page. You can reserve your room onsite at the MGM Grand right now using our Passkey portal: https://book.passkey.com/go/sroy1121mg. Using our room block guarantees you a great rate as prices fluctuate, and it helps us keep our event financially viable!
We are proud to offer a VIP option for our Royal Vegas Retreat 2021 attendees who are looking for a little something extra in their Lolita fashion vacation. GA tickets cost $125 in total and VIP tickets cost $200 (for each ticket type, that's the sum of the reservation price and the remainder, which is the same as last year's price). We only have a small number of VIP tickets left - so what's the difference, and what makes the VIP ticket worth buying?
Premium Goody Bag with Exclusive BB&B Charm
VIP ticketholders receive a premium goody bag loaded with little gifts and extras from our sponsors and special guest brands. Our sponsor BB&B, known for their lovely and good-enough-to-eat sweet deco jewelry, is providing an event-exclusive charm for each VIP goody bag. How lovely! We are gathering a number of other little gifts for the VIP goody bags - so expect some delightful surprises!
Access to Exclusive Before- and After-Parties
Come early and stay late! We are offering an exclusive pre-event mixer for VIPs and a post-event celebration as well. Currently, we plan to serve alcohol at these exclusive events, so VIPs must be 21 or older to attend.
Priority Seating
VIPs get access to front-row seating for all of our main stage content, including the fashion shows! In addition, VIPs get seated first for Sunday afternoon tea.

Don't worry! We're planning more exclusive extras for VIPs, but we need some more time to work on our schedule and floor plans with the venue. The safety of all of our attendees is at the forefront of our minds, so we appreciate your patience as we continue to solidify details.
What about fashion shows and the tea party?
Access to all main content and events, including the fashion shows and Sunday afternoon tea party are included with every GA ticket. This is an important part of our ethos as an event, that every ticket should include tea and fashion shows by default. We hope to keep our event affordable for as many fashionistas as possible, and that to us means including as much as we can in every ticket. So if you're wondering whether you need a VIP ticket to access the Sunday afternoon tea or fashion shows - you don't!
Call to action: this weekend, we won't be posting on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Our usual posting day, Saturday, is Juneteenth, which is a celebration of the emancipation of formerly enslaved peoples in the United States. If you've never heard of Juneteenth, tap in to local celebrations. Research the history of the occasion - it's not as simple as "slaves were freed that day" - far from it. For non-Black and especially white people: find ways to boost and center Black joy. Tap in to the discussions around reparations and find out what work is in progress in your area. Remember that even if your city or your company recognizes Juneteenth as a holiday, that is just one small, small gesture towards racial equity. The work is so far from over, and if you are white and have the day off for Juneteenth, it is a great day to work on your own understanding of structural racism. Have a joyous Juneteenth.
