Happy Thursday! How are you holding up? Allow us to brighten your day with our next vendor: Lavendorium!
Here’s a little tidbit from Lavendorium about the brand:
Lavendorium is an accessories brand that aims to bring a little extra decadence to any outfit! Every piece is designed and handmade by brand owner Mia with care and attention to detail. Every single one is created to become a treasured part of someone’s beloved wardrobe! The items you’ll find here are sometimes spooky, sometimes sweet, but always sparkly!
Lavendorium has an Etsy shop (https://www.etsy.com/shop/Lavendorium) and a Depop store (https://www.depop.com/lavendorium/). Now for a few words on COVID-19 and how it might affect our event. You can always see this information on the main page of our site at https://prettyprincess.club
We’ve been hard at work preparing for Royal Vegas Retreat in November, despite the ongoing threat of the global pandemic. Our venue, the MGM Grand Las Vegas, has been in touch with us regarding ways we can keep our event safe for everyone.
Please see the venue’s safety plan that they will put into effect as part of their reopening: https://www.mgmresorts.com/en/covid-19/seven-point-safety-plan.html
We at Pretty Princess Club are also working on our end to make our event as safe as possible for everyone involved. In addition to a lower, hard cap on attendance, we expect that we will ask our attendees to maintain an appropriate social distance from one another, as well as wear masks when possible. We are looking into the best ways to provide masks to attendees if they are unable to bring your own.
Given the need to maintain space between groups of attendees, we are changing our floor plans and our schedule of content. We may not be able to bring you everything we promised throughout Royal Vegas Retreat, and some portions of our event might take a different form than we originally envisioned. Thank you in advance for your understanding, and we will be sure to update you with the latest information on all of the content throughout the event.
Ultimately, the decision whether to put on this event at all is in the hands of the venue. If they decide in November that it is no longer safe to have Royal Vegas Retreat, we will postpone our event to a later date. As of now, the venue is enthusiastic about moving forward with our and other events this year. In the event that we must cancel outright, we will refund all ticket purchases.
Of course, given the unprecedented nature of the situation, we expect guidance to change and new information to come to light as we get closer to November. We’ve been planning this event since late 2018, and COVID-19 has been an unexpected curveball none of us were anticipating. We expect the nature of in-person events to fundamentally change, and we will be looking to other J-fashion events like Paradiso this August to set the tone.
In the meantime, we ask that you continue doing your part to make the world a safer place: continue social distancing even if your state is reopening businesses, and wear masks whenever you must be out and about. We are so impressed with the ideals of the global EGL community and how compassionate and considerate everyone has been throughout the pandemic! Keep up the great work, and know that you’re making a difference through your actions.
