Hey folks! This week, we're answering a question that we've gotten several times, and one that is super important to your ability to attend #RoyalVegasRetreat2021 : how do I show proof of vaccination?
Regardless of where you're based in the world, you have 2 options:

Physical paperwork
-
Electronic records
In either case, we will cross-check your vaccination record against your government-issued ID. We expect the name on your government ID to match your vaccine record, which may or may not match the name we have on file for you. If there's a good reason why this isn't the case, just let us know as you're checking in. We hope to make this process as painless and as respectful of your privacy as possible.
Physical Paperwork
If you're based in the US, you almost certainly have a vaccine card documenting all of your doses. It looks like this:
If you're based in another country, you may not have a card like this. However, any physical paperwork indicating you were vaccinated will work. Here's an example of paperwork for a vaccinated person in Canada:

Electronic Records
A couple of months after I got my vaccine and my vaccine card, I got an email saying that I now had access to an electronic vaccination record. These records work just as well as a physical one without the burden of having to remember to bring your paperwork - just load the record on your phone. Please remember to test accessing your record in advance and take a screenshot as backup. We prefer to see the live electronic record whenever possible.

The Process
When you pick up your badge at RVR, we will ask you to present your government ID and your proof of vaccination. Once we verify these pieces of information, we can give you your badge.

Are you ready for the RVR 2021 Swap Meet? In addition to our vendors' room, we are proud to offer an alternative shopping option on Saturday, November 20 of the event. We will be hosting a swap meet, where attendees can sell their secondhand items to other attendees. The swap meet is free for all to attend. However, if you're interested in selling at the swap meet, we need you to reserve a table! Table reservations have started on Eventbrite - please note that this is a different Eventbrite link than our main ticket sales! Table reservations cost $15. October 19 is the last day for buying your ticket, reserving your room via Passkey, applying to model on Fluffy Show, or signing up to volunteer. Don't miss this important deadline!
Call to action: if you live in an area with broad access to vaccines, talk to your friends and family who are unvaccinated by choice about what it takes to get them vaccinated against COVID-19. One strategy might be talking about your own safety: if they get vaccinated, you might feel safer around them and visit them more often. While deradicalizing your relatives is a long, drawn-out effort, convincing them to get vaccinated is a small step you can take.
