This week, we want to draw your attention to an amazing event! Pretty Princess Club is sponsoring a J-Fashion High Tea at the Greenwood Masonic Hall, Saturday February 8th at 3 PM. We will be providing Pretty Princess Club swag for all attendees, and assisting with setup, photo opportunities, and other supplies. At Pretty Princess Club, we're devoting all of our energy to promoting our flagship event: Royal Vegas Retreat. This is our whole raison d'être, the reason Pretty Princess Club exists in the first place.

So what IS Royal Vegas Retreat, anyway?

In short, it's a 3-day Lolita fashion convention in Las Vegas. It takes place November 20 - 22, 2020. It will take place at the MGM Grand on the Vegas Strip. Throughout the event, attendees will shop in our vendors' room, watch fashion shows from Lolita and J-fashion designers, interact with special guests at panels, show off their best Lolita, Ouji, general Kei, and handmade coords for prizes and bragging rights, test their skills in a trivia challenge on Friday, dance the night away on Saturday, and cap it all off with a sumptuous Sunday afternoon tea.

If you’ve talked to us lately, we’ve told you that this January we’re making some major announcements for Royal Vegas Retreat. We couldn’t wait until then to tell you: we are so excited to welcome Saxon Blues to Royal Vegas Retreat as a featured blogger! Please read more about her below, in her own words:

J-Fashion blogger Saxon Blues (or J, as her friends call her) is a Texan that loves Angelina Jolie, video games, every hue of blue, and anything involving food. As a self-proclaimed product junkie, she has a bad habit of buying lots of things on Taobao, and giving her opinions on them. J's Taobao addiction is great for fans of her blog, but not so great for her wallet.

One question we get asked a lot here at Pretty Princess Club is - if you're based out of Seattle, why have a convention in Las Vegas? This is a good question! Why go to the effort of planning a huge event out-of-state? Why not do something closer to home? The short answer is that we love Las Vegas, and we think it's an amazing destination for a Lolita and J-fashion convention. For the long answer, read on:

Did you know Pretty Princess Club is based in Seattle, WA? Yes! We are not directly affiliated with the local comms (although Nif is an active member), but we love to put on events for Emerald City Lolitas, Tacoma EGL, and the other incredible comms in our area. Why is our flagship event going to be in Las Vegas, you ask? Well, that's a question for a different blog post... so if you're curious, stay tuned, and we'll have all the answers for you next week.

We are proud to announce that Pretty Princess Club will have a fan table at Anime Los Angeles! We can't wait to meet all of the lovely attendees and talk about Royal Vegas Retreat 2020, our Lolita fashion convention in Las Vegas. As always, we want to hear about what you want in a Lolita fashion event and take photos of your coords - so make sure you stop by our table.

Do you like to plan in advance? We do too - and we have so much fun planned for Royal Vegas Retreat next year - and we need volunteers to make it all possible. Want to lock down a GA ticket in exchange for your time - either prior to the event or at the event itself? We are looking for volunteers to assist with #RoyalVegasRetreat in the following areas:

Volunteers receive free GA admission to Royal Vegas Retreat 2020.
