A JavaScript Developer's Guide to Go

I've been transitioning to Go over the last year, and as a JavaScript developer, I couldn't help but notice the differences in syntax, fundamentals, practices, and runtime environments between the languages—and the effects they have on actual runtime performance and developer productivity.
