A noise-killing game changer in air and water

New Atlas: Toroidal Propellers

Anything that can reduce that annoying high-pitched whine from airborne drones is #awesome in my opinion! And the fact that it also works underwater is an added bonus! The videos are all worth watching, in particular the video demonstrating the noise difference of the propellers fitted to a boat - it’s incredible to learn that the noise of the boat, which I had simply put down to the engines, is largely created by the propellers themselves.
