Give Money Pls

FIRST PARAGRAPH CALL TO ACTION: Go and back my latest project, Myriad Inverse. It’s act one of a Lancer campaign that I’ve been cooking for a few years and am finally turning into something. It’s launching later today as I write this so should be live by the time you read it. Do you want a pre-written Lancer campaign — with maps — written in the same sort of vernacular as my emails? Well, there you go.

The cover image of Myriad Inverse, featuring a poorly-drawn robot and an even-more-poorly-drawn person with an evil grin.
Illustrated by me. Believe it or not, I am improving.

Anyway.

2025 was a rough year for indie RPG creators in the UK and folks, it’s only getting worse—

In fact, let’s be honest, it’s rough and getting worse for people doing anything, anywhere. I’m deliberately not talking about the state of the world beyond RPGs because I would just start screaming and not stop. If there’s something you can do to help, please do it. (If that thing is funding a mental health charity while also scoring a bunch of solo RPGs, Solo But Not Alone is running for its sixth year.)

Anyway, let’s just take it as read that we’re all trying to make the world better in our own ways. Small potatoes are easier to cook, or something. Here’s what I’ve been up to since the last message:

Threadcutters

Threadcutters, a game about occult assassins I made in collaboration with Galen Pejeau, is now available for purchase. It’s one of the best-looking games I’ve made because Galen is an excellent artist and knocked out about half a Tarot deck of cards for illustrations.

Cthulhu Cash Grab

I tabled at Dragonmeet 2025, solo for the first time, and made a hefty loss. Hefty enough that I’m not sure about going back in 2026. While I was there failing to sell enough games to cover my accommodation, between crying fits I wrote Cthulhu Cash Grab. CCG is a game built on the Mörk Borg framework about stealing cool shit from Mythos cults.

Gravity

And I funded Gravity, a rotating-GM one-shot game about powerful people in a bad situation, and am currently in the process of fulfilling physical copies to crowdfunding backers (and IPR) — but if you want a pdf, you can get one now. If you want a book, they’ll be available from me at conventions in the UK, and IPR everywhere else.

The end, no moral.

Chris
