Hello 🌸,
This is your monthly newsletter showcasing everything that is coming up for Postpartum Matters CIC and The Women’s Health Hub in the month ahead. If you are passionate about our work, and if you want to keep up to date with events, do consider subscribing below.
We are a non-profit and most of the work we do is free to access, if you are able, we would so appreciate you supporting us financially by becoming a paid subscriber, you can also make a one off payment of support here.
Paid subscribers get access to a couple special thank you offerings too.
We have bi-monthly Community Connection Circles - which is an hour and a half to have space held just for you. In the comfort of your own home, screen on or off, I will guide you through some personal reflection prompts, we’ll have space (for those who wish to) to share and I’ll end with a guided meditation to leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed.
You also get access to our Mindful Bookbinding course which is a gentle invitation to connect with the seasons, to slow down and to mindfully hand-sew your very own keepsake journal 😍🌸. There are eight workbooks and video tutorials in total and you are guided through these over a 12 month period to reconnect with yourself away from your phone.
I really want these monthly emails to showcase all the wonderful things we have going on, that you can join in with, without you having to read a full essay - so I’ll get right to it-
You can find our up-to-date timetable of free-to-access workshops and support at The Women’s Health Hub by clicking here. We have workshops to support a wide variety of lived experiences, for women, girls & all those assigned female at birth of all ages and stages - it’s not just for mothers. So do check it out!
We’re especially excited to be hosting the local artist, Julie P Cockburn, this month - you can see her work at the current Hartlepool Art Gallery exhibit and she is running a handful of free workshops at the hub over October. You can book tickets below.
Ticket sales are also live for our Christmas/ New Year events 😍
We firstly have our Wild Wreath Making sessions. These are always really wonderful, it’s a two hour break from the Christmas chaos, to focus on yourself, come back to center, step away from your phone and your to-do list and make a beautiful door wreath in the process.
Then, in the New Year, we’ll gather and connect with our 2025 dreams and wishes and I will support you in designing and creating your very own 2025 vision board!
All of the above will obviously have loads of lush cake & warm drinks and all sales money goes directly into the non-profit bank account, helping us fund and sustain The Women’s Health Hub 🥰.
✨ The seventh installment of our online Mindful Bookbinding course will be released at the end of the month to celebrate Samhain/ Halloween. This is a slow, mindful process which we have been working on together. This turn of the wheel we will begin bringing all of your lovely pieces together into your final book.
If you haven’t been joining in with this, it is a beautiful invitation to connect with the seasons and life outside your front door, all whilst hand-sewing your very own keepsake journal. You can read more about the whole process here as well as find all of our previous installments to get you started on your bookbinding journey!
✨Our next Community Connection Circle is on Sunday November 24th at 7pm London time. Come along and carve out 90 minutes just for you! We’ll gather, share stories, journal together, I’ll share a meditation & I promise you’ll leave feeling lighter.
These Substack offerings are specifically for my paid members but, if you’d like to join us and finances are a barrier, please do email for a comp subscription, no explanation needed.
