June Round Up

What you may have missed in June

Postpartum Matters

Hello! I’m Zoe, Founder of Postpartum Matters CIC and The Women’s Health Hub in Hartlepool, UK. We are a not-for-profit created to support women+ in the perinatal period and beyond. We offer a range of workshops and support, both online and in person, as well as bespoke, in person doula support.

Most of the work we do is free to access, and we rely entirely on the support of our incredible volunteers, as well as financial support from our generous community & peers. We would so appreciate you supporting us financially by becoming a paid subscriber, you can also make a one off payment of support here.

The Women’s Health Hub in June:

June was Pride month and we reiterated that the Women’s Health Hub is open to any and all women+, including trans women. We hope to spread this message further throughout the year 🏳️‍⚧️

We also had an influx of messages and emails from interested volunteers which just makes my heart sing. The Women’s Health Hub could not run without the generosity of our incredible volunteers, and hopefully we’ll be able to bring more sessions to The Hub very soon!

Other news from June:

It was Cervical Screening Awareness Week - 17th-23rd June 2024 and the wonderful Katie & Tee - the lush ladies who run BRIC on a Thursday morning at The Hub - popped along to the Women's Wellbeing Event at The Salaam Centre to see our pants bunting & board we made 🩲

And that’s your lot! We have so much planned for July, and we can’t wait to show you.

Speak soon,

If you are passionate about women’s health like we are, and you’d love to support us financially to bring more support to women, both in person and online, please do consider becoming a paid subscriber. We are so grateful, thank you x
