Copilot's /security-review lands in-app for every plan tier

Real-time vulnerability scanning at the commit layer, no terminal required.

JULY 15TH, 2026 · BY JONATHAN HILDEBRANDT

GitHub shipped the /security-review command to the Copilot app on July 14 as a public preview, available for every plan tier: Free, Pro, Business, and Enterprise. The command has lived in Copilot CLI since June 10; this drops the terminal prerequisite. It scans the code changes you are working on, not the whole repo, firing at the moment you write rather than after the fact.

Why it matters. Every Copilot subscriber now gets vulnerability scanning at the commit layer with zero extra tooling. If you already pay for Copilot, this is a security step you were probably outsourcing to a separate scanner.

Cloudflare Precursor scores bots across the whole session

JULY 15TH · PONDERO NEWSDESK

Launched July 13, Precursor tracks mouse movement, typing cadence, scroll, clipboard, and tab visibility into one running Bot Score instead of a single challenge point like Turnstile. The payoff: a bot that clears the first gate still gets flagged when machine-like patterns show up three clicks later. Read our take →
