Gemini Spark, Google's 24/7 cloud AI agent, begins broader US rollout today to Google AI Ultra subscribers. Announced at I/O 2026 on May 19, Spark runs on dedicated Google Cloud VMs and executes long-horizon tasks across Gmail, Docs, and Slides. It also connects to third-party apps through MCP: Canva, OpenTable, and Instacart at launch, with more partners named for summer 2026. Google cut the AI Ultra plan from $250/mo to $100/mo at I/O. The catch: Google's own in-product warning says Spark "may do things like share your info or make purchases without asking." The consumer agent era just got a price and a permission model you can actually evaluate. Spark is built on Google Antigravity, the same infrastructure powering the developer Managed Agents API. It audits for correctness bugs at configurable effort levels (low, default, high), and a new comment flag posts findings as inline review comments directly on your open GitHub PR. As of May 17, GPT-5.3-Codex replaced GPT-4.1 as the base model for Business and Enterprise plans. It carries a 1x premium-request multiplier and is the first Copilot LTS model, guaranteed available through February 4, 2027. GPT-4.1 stays at 0x until usage-based billing launches June 1.
