The Emerald Interlude is next month!
Good evening! As of today, it’s four weeks until registration for The Emerald Interlude closes, and five weeks until it begins. Behind the scenes, just about all of the moving targets have finally settled, so from now on we’ll be focusing on sharing news about what to expect.
Although our venue has a humongous amount of space available, the tickets for class passes are limited: like Emerald Swing, they’ll be mixed level. Unlike Emerald Swing, there’s just Lindy this year, and we don’t want the class to be overwhelmingly large.
Every event is an opportunity for us to experiment with something different, and we’re taking this year to see how 90 minute classes feel. Previously we’ve had 60 minute classes with 30 minute breaks: this time it’ll be two long classes a day with equally long breaks in the middle, starting slightly later.
If it’s received well, we’ll continue to use it going forwards. The feedback given to us last year has given us plenty to think about for the future, which is part of why we decided to run an Interlude this time around.
We’ve updated the website with the timetable for the weekend, which also includes a Google calendar. If there’s anything you’re dying to know about, let us know and we’ll share it sooner than later - otherwise, we’ll be confining our smaller bits of news to facebook and instagram.
Have a good weekend!
