Quick reminder: This email goes out every morning by 8a (eastern). If you don’t have it by then, something is going on with the service. If anything looks weird on your end, please email me directly at plundertheunder@gmail.com

What storm am I talking about exactly? It’s the storm of picks that are going to rain down tomorrow because there a TON of TERRIBLE pitchers scheduled to pitch tomorrow. Ive been cooking in the lab and already have at least a dozen players to target (possibly more).

✅ TOP PICKS ✅
Alec Bohm (PHI) vs. Mitchell Parker [GRADE: A]
H/AB | AVG | wOBA | OPS | ISO | HardHit% |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
24-70 | .343 | .427 | 1.026 | .271 | 50.79% |
Every time I write up Bohm I always wanna just yell “Bohm Bomb!” like I’m a reggae master. So make sure to follow me on socials (@plundertheunder) cuz I’m absolutely gonna yell that if he hits a HR today. Bohm hits lefties well and we get lots of green thingies.
TARGET MARKETS: H+R+R/TB (1u) and HR (0.3u), hit parlays
Quick note on the Target Markets section: These are the markets I’m going to be line/promo shopping for when the markets open up. Sometimes I will avoid them if they’re too juicy or the odds are just garbage. Unit recommendation is a general guideline, but could change based on value.
Dansby Swanson (CHC) vs. Eduardo Rodriguez [GRADE: A-]
H/AB | AVG | wOBA | OPS | ISO | HardHit% |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
25-69 | .362 | .443 | 1.087 | .246 | 44.83% |
Grandma always said, “Any time you get a chance to target E-Rod, go for it.” Thanks Grandma! I’m hopeful we can get a halfway decent line on the H+R+R. HR is probably a little more a flier, but certainly worth a sprinkle or a No Sweat promo consideration.
TARGET MARKETS: H+R+R (1u), HR (0.25u), hit parlays. Total bases can certainly be on your radar too if you want.
💰 THE RECAP 💰
These are all of our picks from Friday, March 28 …
❌ Bryan Reynolds: 0-5, 3Ks … yikes
✅ Pavin Smith: 3-4, double, RBI, 2 runs … he was a beast and now I feel smart. HR would’ve been the icing on the cake.
❌ Rafael Devers: 0-4, 4Ks … absolutely awful
❌ Joc Pederson: 1-3, 1 run … didn’t get us TB
✅ Oneil Cruz: 2-4, HR, 2 RBI, 2 runs
✅ Ketel Marte: 2-5, 1 run
✅ Vlad Guerrero: 2-4, double, RBI
✅ Yandy Diaz: 1-4, got us the single and hit we wanted
Couple duds but overall a decent day!
OK friends … this is the part of the email where we move on to the PREMIUM plays. So here comes THE DREADED PAYWALL!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Hey … look at you … you survived the paywall guillotine! Thanks for being awesome!
✅ THE NEXT TIER ✅
Oneil Cruz (PIT) vs. Max Meyer [GRADE: B+]
H/AB | AVG | wOBA | OPS | ISO | HardHit% |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
70-230 | .304 | .378 | .917 | .187 | 51.47% |
Geez Plunder … just go ahead and ask Oneil Cruz on a date why don’t ya? Heck I even listed him in yesterday’s email TWICE by accident. Get a room already! Cruz got walked 4 times yesterday so I expect him to have better chances today. ISO isn’t ideal but everything else lines up.
TARGET MARKETS: H+R+R/TB (0.50.75u), HR (0.25u)
Bryan Reynolds (PIT) vs. Max Meyer [GRADE: B+]
H/AB | AVG | wOBA | OPS | ISO | HardHit% |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
79-263 | .300 | .389 | .932 | .221 | 51.47% |
Well of course where’s there’s Cruz we end up with Reynolds as well. Reality is Meyer had issues with lefties last year and both guys match up well with the 4 seam, changeup and slider mix. ISO better here so TB is more in consideration than Cruz.
TARGET MARKETS: HRR/TB (0.5u-0.75u), HR (0.25u)
Dylan Moore (SEA) vs. JP Sears [GRADE: B+]
H/AB | AVG | wOBA | OPS | ISO | HardHit% |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
78-255 | .306 | .387 | .946 | .204 | 56.04% |
Moore is way better against lefties and matches up well with the 4 seam, change and sweeper mix that Sears brings. Considering Moore batted .201 overall on the season last year, that .314 number is MASSIVE.
TARGET MARKETS: H+R+R/TB (0.5u-0.75u), HR (0.25u)
Nico Hoerner (CHC) vs. Eduardo Rodriguez [Grade: B]
H/AB | AVG | wOBA | OPS | ISO | HardHit% |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
26-74 | .351 | .357 | .824 | .081 | 29.85% |
As you can see … the power and hard hit numbers are laughable. We are basically looking for a favorable singles market (I’d be hoping for -125 or better).
TARGET MARKETS: singles (0.5u), hit parlays
Lenyn Sosa (CWS) vs. Jack Kochanowicz [GRADE: B]
H/AB | AVG | wOBA | OPS | ISO | HardHit% |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
23-70 | .329 | .330 | .752 | .043 | 46.15% |
Here’s another one just like Hoerner. Could even consider a singles parlay of the two. BONUS DATA: Jack Kochanowicz was one of my favorite players to target for a super boring parlay that cashed almost every single one of his starts last year … you take o15.5 outs, u1.5 walks and then add a dummy leg (if you need to get it to a 3-leg for a promo). The guy simply eats innings, walks nobody and give up a ton of contact.
TARGET MARKETS: singles (0.5u), hit parlays
Ryan O’Hearn (BAL) vs. Chris Bassitt [GRADE: B]
H/AB | AVG | wOBA | OPS | ISO | HardHit% |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
35-126 | .278 | .352 | .858 | .151 | 42.06% |
I don’t love the direct numbers, but Bassitt is much worse against lefties and O’Hearn has a .455 average against him.
TARGET MARKETS: H+R+R/TB (0.5u) … could try a flier on a HR but Bassitt is primarily a ground ball pitcher
Adley Rutschman (BAL) vs. Chris Bassitt [GRADE: B]
H/AB | AVG | wOBA | OPS | ISO | HardHit% |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
30-98 | .306 | .375 | .895 | .163 | 37.04% |
Thoughts are similar here as they were on O’Hearn. I’d consider H+R+R if it’s decent. Keep mind it’s a Sunday and catchers often sit on Sundays, so check lineups!
TARGET MARKETS: H+R+R (0.5u)
That’s all for today … let’s go get some GREEN!
