Plunder the Over?

Hump Day!

The general public is ready to write off Toronto and Milwaukee, so today will be the Jays’ chance to prove everyone wrong.

Both pitchers starting today … George Kirby and Shane Bieber … have scuffled a bit the past six weeks and there are a few hitter matchups I like on both teams. With that in mind, I think o7.5 total is my favorite play of the day. We can certainly dabble in trying to figure out which hitters have a big day, or we can just go after the game narrative.

For the Jays, Nathan Lukes (.371/.398/.229) and George Springer (.310/.411/.429) are best against the Pitch Mix. Vlad Guerrero doesn’t have great numbers against Kirby, but he also have zero strikeouts in 9 ABs, so he' should at least put the ball in play. Anthony Santander has 2 HR off Kirby, but his Pitch Mix numbers stink.

For the Mariners, Cal Raleigh (.393/.478/.393) is the standout. Josh Naylor (.343/.380/.200) looks good too. Julio Rodriguez (.263/.370/.368) doesn’t have the Pitch Mix average, but the power numbers and exit velo are very strong. Also, JP Crawford is 6-12 off Bieber in his career and all six hits are singles, so I’d look at that market.

Let’s go get some GREEN!
