Welcome to the Plaintext Dispatch list. This is an email list for the Plaintext Distro, a digital zine distro specializing in low-tech, DIY, game dev and anti-capitalist zines.
UPCOMING TABLE
Glasgow Zine Fest returns this week for its 2024 iteration. The website lists all of the events that are on across the city, but the most important info for the purposes of this newsletter is that Plaintext Distro’s zine fair table is in the Friday Evening slot at the CCA. We will be there on May 3rd from 4 PM to 9 PM!
I’m kind of excited to see what an evening zine fair will be like, since all of the ones I’ve been to in the past have been during the day. I assume we’ll attract a slightly different crowd.

On the webpage, you can check out the FOUR hot new zines we’ll be debuting this time, as well as the rest of our back catalog, which will also be available, alongside event exclusive goodies (ie whatever I happen to have in the box).
Depending on how much is left over after the fair, I may also consider putting some zines online for purchase as well. It may be through the site again, or alternately I will find a different way because shipping, especially international, has gotten significantly more expensive and complicated.
