Steady Momentum
Hello Everyone,
I’ve been reflecting a lot on what it actually takes to build something meaningful while juggling the rest of life, and today felt like the right moment to share a more personal update.
These past few weeks have been full of movement, the kind that doesn’t always show up online, but the kind that absolutely shapes the future of Pivot Point. Between my full-time job, my doctoral program, and building this organization from the ground up, I’m constantly shifting between roles. Some days it feels like I’m switching identities every hour. Other days it feels like all three worlds collide in the best, most overwhelming way.
It’s a lot, and it’s also exactly where I am meant to be.
Behind the scenes, I’ve been doing the deep, foundational work, like planning, refining ideas, strengthening partnerships, and making sure Pivot Point is aligned with what youth and families in our community truly need. It’s slow, intentional, and sometimes messy, but every piece that clicks into place makes this vision feel more real.
I’ve also been laying more of the fundraising groundwork and preparing for opportunities that will help us grow sustainably. It’s far from glamorous, but it’s the kind of work that actually builds a future.
Thank you for being here, for reading, and for supporting Pivot Point while it’s still becoming. Your encouragement means more than you know. It keeps me grounded and steady as I navigate all these roles and build something I believe will matter for the youth who need it most.
With Gratitude,
Ashley
