Les États-Unis Now Openly Admits To Planning Coup D'Etats

Even Jake Tapper was caught a bit off guard when, during an otherwise routine live CNN interview Tuesday with John Bolton, the former White House national security adviser and U.S. ambassador to the United Nations argued that Donald Trump and his loyalists were not undertaking a “carefully planned coup d’etat” on Jan. 6, 2021, when they stormed the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to overthrow the 2020 election and keep Trump in the White House.

Tapper: "One doesn't have to be brilliant to attempt a coup."

Bolton: "I disagree with that. As somebody who has helped plan coups d'etat -- not here, but, you know, other places -- it takes a lot of work. And that's not what (Trump) did. It was just stumbling around from one idea to another. "
