A Piffany About Critical (Race) Theory

A Venn diagram would find some suspicious overlapping among the folks who show up at school board meetings and decry “critical race theory” alongside the folks who show up at City Council meetings spouting “critical vaccine theory” to protest vaccine mandates, and the folks at county and state elections offices demanding audits of the 2020 presidential election to support their “critical vote theory.”

It’s always funny (and not always in the haha way) to hear people suggest we should Question Everything, just not this one thing. Please don’t question that.

Of the examples I cited above, only “critical race theory” is an actual thing you hear critics of the so-called CRT say over and over and over again — but only if you listen to the media giving these critics a microphone and a global TV audience to say it.
