Picmal v1.1.1 is out — Smarter compression, auto mode, and custom file naming
Hi there,
Just a quick note to let you know that Picmal v1.1.1 is now available!
Auto compress setting

Turn on Auto compress mode in Preferences > Files, and Picmal will start compressing as soon as you drop your files in.
Fixed compression output
Fixed an issue where files weren’t being compressed properly when compression settings were enabled.
Custom file naming

You can add prefixes or suffixes to your compressed files — or leave the fields blank if you’d rather overwrite the originals. You’ll find this option in Preferences → Output.
Clear settings

Just press Clear settings to reset all compression quality options back to their defaults.
To download this version of Picmal, just go to Gumroad as usual or click on “Check for Updates” inside your Picmal app.
As always, your feedback is super helpful to me. If you find any errors, something you don’t understand or aren’t convinced by, or a use case I haven’t considered, send me an email at support@picmal.app. I always reply and I’m happy to do so.
Also, if you like the app and haven’t done it yet, you can leave me a review on Gumroad or recommend it to someone who might find it useful.
Thank you for your support,
Alberto
