A quick welcome to new subscribers. I'm thrilled to have you aboard!

Last week's social phone free adelphi was an unmitigated success (do people only use "unmitigated" for disasters?). We created art, we drank various liquids, and snacked on lots of chips. A massive thanks to all who came out.

This week, we're back to our mostly-silent screen-free creative nights. There's still time to RSVP! You'll come over, we'll turn off devices, and then do whatever you want that doesn't involve said devices.

Beyond that, this week is a busy one for me. I'm hosting another luddite-adjacent event on Friday, 10.23, a phone free comedy show at Pete's Candy Store in Williamsburg.

Free! Happy hour until 7pm! Guaranteed laughter!

I'm also hosting the 28th Annual Great PUPkin Costume Contest this Saturday, 10.24, and I'd love to see you there. Not really phone free but I guess dogs don't really use phones, which I deeply appreciate. It's too late to register your canine but NOT too late to come enjoy the wonderful spectacle that is the Great PUPkin.
