I know I said this in the previous newsletter; it bears repeating. The mini-book-tour train is chugging into the station on Wednesday, October 25th with one final event (for now)! Please join me for a launch event at Porter Square Books. Deets below.
Somewhere in my 15th or so year of drafting and revising (and drafting and revising and . . . you get it) this novel, I began to understand that something I very much looked forward to was being part of this incredible community of #kidlit authors-- these final two events of my mini-tour are that dream realized.
I'm deeply grateful to my mentor-friend-writing-group-companion Erin Dionne. Without her welcome, encouragement, and guidance, I would not be here. Similarly, with Raúl the Third, I've been witness to how it's DONE --to the hustle, to clarity, purpose, and skill, and to the BIG impact of small kindnesses. Thank you, thank you, friends.
