Dropped Candy - Mini Edition with Fall Book Events
My People, It Has Been a Ride!
Confessions of a Candy Snatcher officially launched on August 15th and it has been non-stop since. I was not prepared for the positive reception my little novel received. Each day following the launch, I received messages and photos and exuberant social media @'s from friends, family, and fans. I am awed. I am humbled. I am honored. I'm impressed with how much you're willing to engage with candy corn.
This mini edition of the Dropped Candy newsletter is a stopgap. I yearn to gush on and on about how much your support has meant to me and post photos of the CoaCS copies you purchased and photographed, but my fall slate of events is calling. Attending to that, I'm sending out this brief update of where you can find us (me, the book, and likely the partner who kindly feeds us and drives us around) in the Greater Boston area this October, starting this weekend at MICE.
I've been attending MICE (Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo) for more than a decade. As a comics fan and a DIY enthusiast, this event speaks to me . . . and forces me to set a budget before walking in the door (otherwise things get out of control.) I'm SO excited to be taking part as a workshop instructor this year! Info below.
