Performing Arts of Woodstock is seeking 4 actors for a full-length Irish drama, "Shining City" by famed playwright, Conor McPherson, directed by Lena Adams.

The play will run at the Community Center for 10 performances on weekends from May 29 through June 14.

We are also seeking a Stage Manager.

Auditions will be held on Sunday, April 12, 7-9pm Monday April 13, 7-9pm Tuesday, April 14 7-9pm at Adele Calcavecchio's house 16 Brook St. Kingston 12401. Adele's phone #: (845)331-2369.

Sides will be provided. Ages flexible, Irish accents very helpful.

Cast Ian (40's) a therapist who has recently made some major life changes.The goals he has achieved, however, have proved unsatisfying.

John (50's) Ian's client, recently widowed, whose grief is complicated by guilt and spectral intervention

Lawrence (20's) a blue-collar guy, out of work because of an injury. He is reluctantly earning some cash by soliciting men

Naesa (30's) Ian's wife, who has supported him through his changes. She is fighting for her future.

Rehearsals: some week nights, 6-9pm; some weekends, noon-6pm.

PAW offers a small stipend to cast and crew members.

PAW is not able to cast Actors' Equity members.
