Encountered as an epigraph to The Extractive Zone; author Macarena Gómez-Barris doesn't provide a citation to indicate which edition she's borrowing from but I couldn't find this sentence in a quick search of the edition of Poetics of Relation translated to English by Betsy Wing so it seems likely to be from this essay.


I would say “for better and for worse” but I’m not exactly sure what the “for better” part is.
