Paso a Paso Tango Technique Workshop - Registration of Interest
This is a registration of interest that we are collecting for organising a workshop on tango technique in Totnes, Devon. Please leave your name and email if you might be interested in attending the workshop. *THIS IS NOT A REGISTRATION OF ATTENDANCE, NAMES AND EMAILS ARE COLLECTED ONLY FOR EVALUATION AND ORGANISATION PURPOSES* Paso a Paso Tango Technique are 2-hours foundational workshops to work on individual technique and body awareness. Their goal is to deepen and deconstruct the mechanics...
A good technique is foundational to execute movement effortlessly and creatively, in communication with our dance partner.
While tango is a couple dance, having a greater awareness and control of our own bodies improves our confidence and balance, together with expanding our range of possibilities for interpretation during the dance.

Paseos tangueros
During our last práctica we danced and talked a bit about milonga, the music and the dance, which, as many of you might have already guessed, Alex particularly loves.
At the beginning of one's tango journey, milonga often feels very intimidating, because its rapid pace makes it appear more difficult than it is. But the best milongas (or at least the one I love most) are the ones that put fun over fastness, and nice clean steps over thousands of useless traspié. One particularly beautiful milonga show I encountered in paseos tangueros a few weeks ago is by Lorena Tarantino and Giampiero Galdi (and a little someone in Lorena's belly!), which I'd like to share with you all:
