The Paso a Paso technique workshop is an intensive seminar for a small group of four to eight people. We are planning to organise this in spring, booking will only open if there is enough interest. Please, register here by March 8:

This is a registration of interest that we are collecting for organising a workshop on tango technique in Totnes, Devon. A good technique is foundational to execute movement effortlessly and creatively, in communication with our dance partner.
While tango is a couple dance, having a greater awareness and control of our own bodies improves our confidence and balance, together with expanding our range of possibilities for interpretation during the dance.
Where we are

We run our prácticas at the Bridgetown Community Hall which is at the top of Bridgetown, situated in a residential area wedged between Hope Close, Dukes Road, and Weston Lane.

Some people pointed out that, for those unfamiliar with the area, finding the hall isn't very easy. We made a short video here to show you the two car parks and the entrance to the hall.

Paseos tangueros
Alex took some time offline during the winter break, and she is slowly catching up with tango-related news. However, she recently discovered that many videos of one of her favourite tango content, "Tengo una pregunta para vos" ("I have a question for you"), the amazing oral history of contemporary tango by Pepa Palazon, now have English subtitles. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to expand their knowledge and embrace the culture of tango beyond the dance:

Paso a Paso Tango is a new artistic project about Argentine tango and folklore based in Totnes, Devon.
In September 2025, we launched our monthly práctica at the Bridgetown Community Hall, we the aim to revive the historical Wednesday tango practice that unfortunately stopped during the pandemic.
We are on once a month, on Wednesday.
