Straight to the point: we have three scheduled canvass opportunities and we’re short on volunteers. Sign up is here:

We will meet and briefly go over canvassing goals and best practices, do a quick role play for those new to canvassing or back after a long absence, and then split into groups. Bilingual Spanish/English canvassers will get lists of doors where we expect there is a Spanish speaker in the home, and others will get a list of voters we think will be happy to see us, but might not vote if they don't get a nudge. Not up for canvassing? Before you trash this message, please take a moment to think of three friends, even if you don’t know them to be volunteers. If you’d be willing to forward this message to even one of those three, you’re helping us double the pool of potential canvassers.

Winning this November is all about turnout, and a face-to-face conversation with somebody sharing Facts (like the fact that one-stop early voting starts on Thursday the 17th) helps people make their plan to vote.
