  1. Time compression — Past revolutions gave society generations to adapt. AI compresses this to months. Entry-level jobs in law, medicine, and programming could vanish simultaneously, breaking the social mobility ladder before we notice it's gone.

  2. Economic decoupling ("The Trillionaire's Dilemma") — GDP growth of 10-20% per year sounds great, but where does the wealth go? Capital could concentrate so extremely that tech corporations become more powerful than G7 nations, making democratic control an illusion.

  3. Existential emptiness — If AI becomes the better coder, the more empathetic therapist, the wiser advisor — what remains for humans? We risk becoming "well-cared-for pets of our own creation."

Conclusion

Our education systems, social safety nets, and concept of "work" are the Kodak and Blockbuster of social structures — optimized for a linear world. We need leaders with the courage to make a priori decisions: building protections for human dignity and new value-creation models before the data proves they're necessary. Otherwise, we could become "the Kodak of civilization."
