Hi friends,

Jewish tradition teaches us that when times are hard, and we are called to mourn and grieve, we are also obligated to find joy in our daily lives and the world around us.

I’m taking that to heart. Working on things that feel vital and necessary in this particular moment, getting more involved in our local community, and maybe most importantly, playing some damn music.

To that end:

Outro is playing the Drake in Amherst on Friday, December 20 with Slant of Light and Ex-Temper.

This is going to be a fun show! All three bands have a unique spin on the post-punk, post-rock thing.

Even better: We’re playing first, around 8pm.

It’ll be a cozy time. What better way to say goodbye to this accursed year than to revel in the sounds of local bands?

Outro is hard at work writing new material and preparing to release an EP early next year on Repeating Cloud records. We’re super excited for what’s to come and to share some new stuff with you.
