Oskitone kits will be at Maker Faire Bay Area
Maker Faire is coming up this weekend in Vallejo, and, while I won't be there physically, I'll be there spiritually... in the form of kits!
I'll have ware with two friends, Alpenglow Industries and Dogbotic:
- Alpenglow makes really fun soldering (and... no-solder?!) electronics kits and blinky things. I like them a lot. I have their "I voted" LED badge and cursing unicorn kits. They also had me on their "Solder Sesh" YouTube show back in the day.
- Dogbotic is an audio studio / workshop lab I've known for awhile now and of whom I am a big ol' fan. I teach one of their DIY Synths workshop sections -- next one of mine is poised for March '24; stay tuned.
Anywho, if you're going and see either of their tables, please introduce yourself! Nice people may get something cool for free. Stranger things have happened.
In other news, I have just enough subscribers now to have to pay for MailChimp, so maybe I'll have to start making things again to warrant sending emails to justify paying for this software? This is the small business equivalent of exercising because of a gym membership.
sup,
Tommy
