15 Minutes of (Thingiverse) Fame
A premature feature and a stickler for stickers
The Space Dice, as Featured on Thingiverse!
Despite the new Oskitone Space Dice kit not being officially launched yet, the Thingiverse mods (Hey, Luis!) saw its freshly uploaded 3D models and promoted it to their “Discover” page. A little early for me but cool!

In an effort to capture sales, I made it "live" to buy on my end too. Call it a soft launch forcing function, I guess.
Like a flash in the pan, me and my work are no longer featured on Thingiverse, but I'll keep the kit available on Oskitone. And I’ll make a proper announcement with blog post write-up a little later.
Writing is hard!
But buying a Space Dice DIY Electronics Kit is (now) easy.
No more stickers for 123 Fake St
This last week I got a bunch of sticker orders that were all very obviously fake: the same sticker going to the same destination with the same templated email address. Boo
It turns out that scammers test stolen credit cards online with small purchases less likely to be refuted. And my humble website was one of their testing grounds. They’ve been hitting it pretty hard based on Stripe’s transaction log.

As a hack fix, all Oskitone stickers are temporarily pretending to be sold out. Stock is fine, however. Here now is how to get 'em:
- Buy anything from the store and tell me what you want, stack ranked.
- Send a postcard to 1415 Webster St #840; Alameda, CA; 94501. Include a return address.
- Reply to this email with your sticker-receiving address and a really good, clean joke.
Trying hard to get my money's worth from this email platform,
Tommy from Oskitone
