📺 03.17.21

Image of the track on an MTA metro station. Between two gray pillars, there are three small TV's hanging from the ceiling, showing the incoming activity on the train tracks.

You will carry your dreams with a belly full of porridge and scallion pancake, some sleepiness, and hopefully, a little more space to collect ceiling thoughts.

If ceiling thoughts are of warm soymilk, then subway thoughts are usually of the mysterious liquid that you may or may not have stepped in. They're both spaces for reflection, and I can't decide whether ceiling thoughts or subway thoughts are more rooted in fantasy.

Do you dream more in the day or at night?

I love how sleepy these TVs look. Watching the track all day, exhausted by how predictable the rhythm of their days appear to be. I want to cut a slice of the static everytime I pass by them. A bit frightened by the thought of what these TVs have seen, by what I have seen, on TV and otherwise.
