Close-up of a half-eaten slice of confetti cake

I like to think that magic is found when I'm emphatically enjoying life. The corners and folds of my own small viewpoint are torn open to hold a little more, and things become aligned to a point I didn't know existed. I think it slips in, then. But, then again...

Magic likes to be let in. Maybe all it needs is an open invitation? To walk in and out willingly without any announcement.

A lisp (slip) of magic caused by trying to eat and talk at the same time with a piece of too-sweet confetti cake stuck to the roof of one's mouth.
