Quiet Analysis — for those who vote left, three convictions tested against numbers
Dear reader,
This piece is not meant to convince you. It is meant to show you something.
Those who vote PRO, GroenLinks-PvdA or D66 do so from a moral self-image. Not out of egoism — out of participation in a greater good. Three convictions support that self-image: that the rich must be impoverished, that one's own job is safer with the left, and that the trade union protects those who stay behind. I do not contest those convictions with arguments. I place them alongside the numbers — CBS purchasing-power series, CPB elasticities, Argentine pension data, Statistics South Africa. What comes out, you read for yourself.
It is Part III of The Consequence Map — a scenario calculation in three orders (direct pocket, policy effects, generational effects). No black-box, no hidden assumptions. The open Excel file will become available on gevolgenkaart.nl when the platform goes live.

What you do with it is your business. I ask only one thing: read to the end.
And if you know someone who votes left — a friend, a colleague, a family member — send this to them. Not to convert them. To show them the same numbers you now see. What they do with it is then their business.
Warm regards, Jacobus van Merksteijn Malta
