Foundation and SOAR Updates
Foundation-security-services-setup development continues with v0.1.18 bringing improved code quality through dataclass refactoring. This makes the code cleaner and more maintainable while keeping the component in its current read-only mode - it tells you what's configured across your AWS security services but doesn't change anything yet. The mutation capabilities that will automate the actual configuration are coming in v1.0.0.
Meanwhile, SOAR v2.3.2 has gained some much-needed intelligence about its own operations. The AI analysis now recognises when it's looking at legitimate OpenSecOps automation activity rather than treating every discovery API call as potentially suspicious. We've also taught the AI some additional HTML sense, so emails should look even better now.
Both components maintain their comprehensive test coverage and deployment reliability. Foundation-security-services-setup keeps delivering reliable discovery of your AWS security posture, while SOAR gets progressively better at distinguishing signal from noise.
