Weaselly and couch-bound but still we rise
Metaphorically. Or not without difficulty and grunting.
Hello Tuesday,
Hello morning, hello coffee, hello window washers. Hello cats, scared by window washers, hiding under furniture.
I tweaked my back on Saturday jumping into the lake, and learned that gone are the days of 24-hour recovery from just about any injury. Boo!

Ahem- allow me to be the first to tell you that I am releasing an album on October 23, 2026. I haven’t widely announced this yet or made a big fuss, but since you’re the special few, let me share a bit more so we can be excited together.
The album is called after the sun hit the roof. It’s my first full-length album, joining three EPs and a double single in my discography. YAY!
To mark the occasion, I will be playing an album release show in November. The show isn’t announced yet — if you’d like to be notified when tickets go on sale, you can sign up here.
Another way to be notified for upcoming live shows is to follow me on Bandsintown.
I am in the early stages of plotting this show, but I’m already in theatre tech Reddit threads asking stupid questions and getting stupid answers. Terrorizing everyone I know who has experience in projection mapping and stage design. Treadmill choreo is not out of the question.
Toronto, I am very excited to share that I’ll be playing at Second Summer Fest on September 25 & 26! Show details to come soon (an amazing reason to follow me on Bandsintown).
Halifax, tickets for my September 2 show with Chris Garneau at the Sanctuary Arts Centre are on sale now. Not to be missed!
And finally, some things that have kept me going through the heat wave/back pain combo:
