We've got a snowballs chance in hell
Hello. Apologies for no newsletter last week. So without further ado (to do??) the comic!
As unfortunate as not getting the newsletter done last week was, I have been managing to get some ‘adulting’ done. Things like booking and going to vaccinations, cleaning, gardening, surviving social outings and surviving the day job and such. And loosing my diary. A comic about that is in the works.
Here are some skulls.
My little tribute to finishing season 2 of Stuff the British Stole. I’ve also been listening to Marc Fenell’s new audio docu series ‘No one sore it coming’ on the ABC listen app. I’m finding it fascinating.
Music. Missing live gigs even though I’m less comfortable in them than what I use to be. Also my knees aren’t what they use to be. Only new music I’ve listen to recently has been Voyger’s single ‘Seen better Days’ and ‘flight b457’ by King Gizard and the Lizard Wizard on bandcamp.
I’ve managed to take notes for the next two volumes of Sammy Doom and (mostly finished) a badge template.
To make up for the lack of update last week, here are next weeks skulls.
There are meny more skulls. I think I have a back log of about 12 or so.
Skull is also getting a pet! I’m not sure what though. An armadillo has been suggested. Which is a fun idea, but it feels a bit too exotic. I’m still a little way off from finishing that page so I’m still up for suggestions. perhaps something a little easier to draw…
I hoping to lock in Sam over at tree paper gallery for some printing in September.
Seeing the horrors happening in both the Ukraine and Palestine and the shit show that is America right now and feeling completely helpless to do anything about any of it, I’ve decided that I’m going to try and donate money where I can. I am not comfortable with doing nothing. But I’m feeling like I have little time to do much. So here are what I hope are some useful links:
I would have liked to have volunteered with them if I had of had the smarts to become a doctor. And they defiantly have their work cut out for them at the moment.
Donate to wiki. Two reasons:0ne) they are free and veto everything and have external links and are one on the last standing places of truth. two) it pisses of people like Elon Musk and Donold Trump. Which is worth its weight in gold alone.
A local wildlife organization that helps with injured wildlife.
Okay. I think that’s about it for now. I hope you enjoyed the extra skulls. I’m going off to enjoy the rest of my 4 day long weekend (woohooo!!) and get off this laptop which is annoying me to use.
