I've nothing to lose and only one way up.

Well here we are.

The next week and bit of skulls.

Speaking of skulls…

I swung past the sticky institute yesterday. They have finally moved back down to the Campbell arcade. I'm relieved they didn't do much damage down there. At least from what I could see.

But yes, volume 4 of today's skull is out. And I'll have some for the Coburg Makers Market next Sunday.

Ben from squish face studio was there too. It was good chatting to him.

Massive thanks to the volunteers for helping me with printing. The photocopier was not being cooperative.

I am now, technically, unemployed. My last day of my retail job was Monday.

My lovely co-workers got me chocolates and gift voucher fir the store so I have to go back and visit them lol. I miss seeing the already to be honest. The fact that I haven't been replaced is probably a good sign that leaving was a good idea.

Some finial bits of art supply gathering.

Chalkboard paint and pens. Staedtler is normally a decent enough brand. Looking forward to playing around with them. Hopefully they will be easy to replace if I do like them. Chalkboard paint will come in handy for market stall displays.

I've also got some more badges to cut out that Sam from treepaper gallery generously printed out for me. The hot beverage appreciation badges are selling well at Penny Cafe. So that needs a restock. Along with all the cutting and stapling of zines I have a head of me.

This weekend and the bulk of next week are all about getting everything set up for Coburg. Then it will be full force prep for hallowzine on the 1st of November. Main focus will be the 6th and possibly final edition of Sammy Doom the dancing demon.

I have no real vision for it beyond the 6th edition at the moment. My mind is wondering elsewhere. But I would like to sign it off with a shiny limited edition run in a box set.

I would love to do a kickstarter for it but I haven't had time to figure out the logistics of it. How meny should I print? What insensitives should I add? Do I need a stretch goal? What's my pricing and how much should I make for myself/future projects? What kind of tome frame do I estimate?

Its a lot to think about. But now is the time for such things.

To add to the list i really need to get big cartel, a website and god knows what else all working. So I'm going off to be gainfully unemployed.

Skull you later!

(See what I did there?….sorry I will show myself out..)
