it's hard yo hold a candle in the cold November rain...

Hello good person of my poor neglected newsletter.

Here's today's skull for you.

And here is some more…

A massive thank you to Alex, the sticky institute, and everyone who came out to Hallowzeen on the 26th. The weather was wet and wild so the numbers weren't huge. But still it was a great day.

I got to catch up with some people I haven't seen in a while, oddly partly because there was a table mix up and I got to sit next to Tegan who does cool little games as well as zines. And Alison and Kat from concert queers. And I restocked with Zinegang Distro.

The zine haul

Didn't get up from the table much. I ended getting fixated on a drawing. So the zine haul is small. All trades, that I'm looking forward to sinking my eyeballs into.

Hallozeen table Set up

Emily never has opened up commissions! And behold the beast!

I AM SO EXCITED!!

Today I am updating you from my phone. As I don't know where the laptop is. Which is annoying as I'm trying to get off my phone more. On the up side I'm technically not using an app, I'm using Firefox.

Anyway. Onwards.

What have I been listening to?

Tron: Ares sound track by Nine Inch Nails. It is soooo good. All that nails distortion, with a dash of what reminds me of the video game wipeout.

Version 2.0 and No Gods, No Masters by Garbage. I still want to be Shirley manson when I grow up. Lol.

Transmission by the Tea Party. As far as I'm concerned it is the perfect album. All killer no filler.

Inertia by pendulum. So far, at least as far as I'm aware, I haven't been caught speeding while listening yet lol.

This American by Eric Bibb. Old school blues. Very social/political yet there is it light to it. And hope. And some great blues guitar.

I'm tired. Thanks for reading all the way to the end. And your patience with my lack of posting.and welcome new subscribers! I shall see you all next week!

Read zines!
