ch-ch-ch-changes, turn and face the strain...
Hello. And after some minor procrastination and unwanted day job related brain shut down we're back.
And we are back with skulls…

Being that it was both David Bowie's birthday and death day at the start of January I've been binge listening to most of the albums of his I have in the car. I couldn't find my copy ziggy stardust. Which is a shame as I took a great deal of comfort from that album during my last couple of years of high school. I highly recommend a Bowie binge. Good for the soul. Also take time off work because if you are in anyway creative it will make you want make things. At least it does for me. Unfortunately bills and the relentless yoke of capitalism are doing the up most to prevent me from my true for artistic mania.
I'll have to remember to bowie binge next art block day.
Any way. More skulls.

Cover for today's skull volume 3.

The start of the year has been…roller-coaster-ish already. Oddly enough, much like almost every year for the past 10 years…hmmm.
But let's start with some positives (aside from skulls).

I'll be at the sticky institute's festival of the photocopier on Sunday 8th February. 12pm to 5pm at the meat market, 3 Blackwood Street, North Melbourne.
I would like to get a couple more zine fairs in this year. So if anyone knows any send me a message. Would really appreciate it.
I'm trying to get back into lino printing but my brain just isn't braining enough to get past the idea of wanting to lino print.
Here's a concept of how I want to do a zine:

If I split a page into 3 horizontally I potentially 3 zines and 8 pages, or 16 if I use the other side. Or a long poster.
Other good things, I went to the Melbourne museum with a friend. Which also made my fingers itch to make. First up a Viking hoard from Scotland.

I ready want to make jewellery as wearable art. The exhibition wasn't as big as I would of liked but I'm still glad I went.
A FINALLY SORE THE TRICERATOPS

I'm tempted to spam you. But I shall refrain. Suffice to say it's pretty much everything I could want from a fossil.
Then it was on to lego star wars.

We made droids.

A resistance ship called the star skipper.

So. Much. Lego.

The little shop haul.
I think I shall leave you with with that.
Oh. And this.

Now go.
Get out there and make something. It's good for the soul.
