Hello there. I’m back and battling technology.
This past month has been overwhelming. And as a consequence mentally draining. The inconsistency with Vline of late has felt like salt being rubbed into a fresh cut.
Some positive news (I can’t remember if I mentioned it last time. I should have re read my last newsletter…) is I signed up for hallozine.
The screen shot helps to remind me that I did in fact apply and that I don’t need to do it again. Applications close tomorrow I think. So get on it fellow zinesters.
The weather today has been terrible. Which has been good for getting work done.
Flats for the first two collections of Today’s Skull and glued and are ready to do battle with the photocopier. As well as mini zine that I’m going to hand out as a freebee/ business card (social media details are on the back. I also just realized i forgot to put the newsletter on there. will have to fix that)
I’ve signed up to Cara. onesmallduck as with all other social media I’m currently actively on. If you have time please give me a follow over there. I would be nice if I could use it and drop a couple of apps. It would be nice to feel like I have a bit more art time to myself.
I really need to utlise discord more. But i can’t be assed right now.
I’m also being harrased by dogs.
Some other positives are that I’m waiting on an order from stickeroo. The stickers I have ordered (cult of skull, today’s skull thinks you’re neat, today’s skull is here to party) should hopefully be here next week. If they turn out good enough I’ll get the rest printed up as well as a couple Sammy Doom and some generic Halloween designs that I’m drawing up now.
Unfortunaly my attempts to get my Hallozine zine done have been thwarted by computer problems. Old tech just not loading mostly. And me screwing up a save file.
I also stuffed up volume 5 of sammy doom somehow. Which I’ll get back onto once my wrist stops aching.
But that’s enough talk. Onward to skulls!
