at first you don't succeed, dust yourself off and try again
Hello. Sorry for missing last week's newsletter, but I was running around in an effort to get things moving. Whuch failed. More on that in a minute. But first: two weeks of skulls:

Okay. So.
The lovely Sam of tree paper gallery has printed out badge faces (???) For me. And they turned out great.

And I got to spend some time with Sam talking about art and life and things and hang out in his Nichols building gallery/studio (I dream of getting studio space in that building)

Unfortunately, he did too nice a job. The paper is way too thick for the badge press.

I want to turn them into magnets. Just going to figure out how that will work.
Badge failure means I haven't got much of anything to set the online store up with. I'd post the ‘hot beverage’ badges but I'm out stock of ‘you're my favourite cup of tea.
But.
I'm not done yet.
I'm going to get to work on some smallish lino cuts that are going to be part of a long term project i want to do that works as a bit of an experiment. I'll save more on that for next week.
But it also brings me back to the conversations I was having with Sam and another friend.
I want to float the idea of doing a mail subscription for art. I think people have been calling it slow art or slow mail?
I'm not sure I can handle a monthly schedule. More likely once every two months.
But if anyone is interested. Or has ideas/suggestions please email me at mharford.art@gmail.com
I am yesterday to look at pricing. But I want to try and keep it under $15 if possible.
Hopefully I'll have better news next week. Until then I need to go do some more plotting, pondering and draw more skulls.
Onwards we go!
