Hello friends of the newsletter. Here be your new skull.

It ties in nicely with some ideas I'm trying to work on.

I spent maybe 45min joting down ideas the other night. Which is nice. The only real problem I had was my concentration veering off randomly.

So. A small breakdown of the above notes:

Exhibition ideas: momento mori and Red.

Momento mori is largely what it says on the tin. Death and what not. But also extending into the ideas of death of ego, end of personal cycles and dragging one's self to rebirth/new beginnings.

Red: symbolical no word comic style series about disconnecting from conformity and forging ones own path.

3rd exhibition: junk magic and companion zine. Alot of occult related things have become increasingly monetise seemingly inaccessible. So I'm going to attempt making my own magic system by utilising my rather bad habit of hoarding scrap bit of paper. Should be interesting. Even if it fails, it's a result.

I'm trying to find more zine fairs. Preferably in Melbourne. You know of any let me know if you can.

I am also looking at booking the suitcase rummage next month once I get paid.

Speaking of work. I'm taking most of march off, and looking for a new job. Things have gotten bad enough that I think its best I move on.

Ideally it would be making art full time. I've got nearly 3 weeks to try and set that up.

But for now, I best be off. More to do and less time to do it in and all that…
