Here are 10 prompts you can use today. Each one is ready to copy and paste into ChatGPT or Claude. Try at least one.

Prompt: Turn a messy brain dump into a clear priority list
Copy and paste this:
Act as a calm, practical productivity coach for a 62-year-old retired teacher named Linda who is helping her daughter plan a move next month. I am going to give you a messy brain dump of tasks, worries, errands, and reminders. Your job is to sort everything into the Eisenhower Matrix, rewrite each item as a clear action, and then tell me the top 3 things I should do first today. Here is the brain dump: call the moving company back, find the boxes in the garage, buy tape and labels, confirm the apartment elevator time, pay the water bill, text Marcus about borrowing his pickup truck, cancel the pest control appointment, and look for insurance papers in the blue folder. After sorting, give me a short “today plan” that fits into 2 hours and includes one thing I can delegate, one thing I can do in under 10 minutes, and one thing to postpone.
Prompt: Build a realistic day plan around energy levels
Copy and paste this:
Act as a realistic scheduling assistant for Robert, a 58-year-old self-employed electrician who starts work early and loses focus after lunch. Build a one-day schedule for Thursday with these details: peak energy from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, low energy from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and a hard stop at 5:30 PM for family dinner. Today’s tasks are: finish the invoice for the Miller job, buy parts at Home Depot, return two client calls, update next week’s work calendar, clean the truck, and pay the business credit card bill. Schedule the most demanding work during peak energy, put phone calls and admin into low-energy time, and include 15-minute buffers between tasks. Make the plan realistic, not idealized, and show it in hour-by-hour blocks.
Prompt: Plan a week with appointments, chores, and family time
Copy and paste this:
Act as a weekly planning assistant for Denise, a 67-year-old grandmother who cares for her husband, shops for her son’s family, and has two medical appointments this week. Organize this week around the following fixed events: Monday 10:00 AM dentist appointment, Wednesday 2:00 PM physical therapy, Friday 11:30 AM lunch with her sister Martha, and Sunday church at 9:30 AM. Her tasks are: grocery shopping, refill prescriptions, water the patio plants, mail birthday cards to three friends, vacuum the living room, and finish planning the community center potluck. Create a simple weekly plan that groups errands on the same day, leaves recovery time after appointments, and protects one free afternoon for rest. Show the final plan by day with no more than 4 priorities per day.
Prompt: Turn errands into the smartest route possible
Copy and paste this:
Act as a route-planning assistant for Elaine, a 71-year-old who wants to finish errands efficiently before noon. She needs to go to Walgreens at 4820 Main Street in Kansas City for prescriptions, drop off dry cleaning at Stitch & Press on Oak Avenue, stop at the bank on 31st Street to deposit a check, and buy chicken, salad, and yogurt at Hy-Vee on Blue Parkway. She is starting from 2147 Maple Drive in Brookside and wants the shortest, least stressful route with the fewest left turns and parking hassles. Put the stops in the best order, explain why that order is smartest, and estimate a realistic total trip time including parking and store time.
Prompt: Create a clean home reset plan for one room
Copy and paste this:
Act as a home organization coach for Carol, a 64-year-old who wants to reclaim her cluttered dining room before her grandchildren visit on Saturday. The room contains unopened mail, a basket of old magazines, two boxes of holiday decorations, extra candles, photo albums, a broken lamp, and random cords. Create a step-by-step 90-minute reset plan that uses only four categories: keep in the room, move to another room, donate, and throw away. Start with the easiest decisions first, include a 10-minute setup step, and finish with a simple “done” checklist so Carol can see progress quickly.
Prompt: Build a simple system for managing medications and appointments
Copy and paste this:
Act as a personal organization assistant for James, a 69-year-old managing five daily medications, two specialists, and recurring follow-up appointments. Create a simple, low-stress system for keeping track of medications and appointments using a wall calendar, a pill organizer, and a phone reminder. Include a daily routine for morning and evening, a weekly refill check on Saturday morning, and a doctor-visit preparation checklist that covers insurance card, medication list, symptom notes, and questions to ask. Keep the instructions very plain and easy to follow.
Prompt: Plan a family gathering without last-minute stress
Copy and paste this:
Act as an event planning assistant for Patricia, a 66-year-old hosting a backyard birthday lunch for 14 people next Sunday at 1:00 PM. The guest list includes her daughter Angela, son-in-law Mike, four grandchildren, two neighbors, and five close friends. The menu is pulled chicken sliders, coleslaw, potato salad, lemonade, iced tea, and sheet cake. Build a simple planning timeline starting 7 days before the event, including shopping, food prep, table setup, cooler prep, and cleanup. Add one backup plan for rain and one reminder for any supplies that are easy to forget, such as napkins, ice, serving spoons, and trash bags.
Prompt: Organize a home project into tiny steps
Copy and paste this:
Act as a project planner for Frank, a 70-year-old who wants to organize his garage without spending the whole weekend on it. The garage has winter coats, old paint cans, fishing gear, three broken lawn chairs, holiday decorations, and a workbench covered in tools. Create a 4-step plan that breaks the job into short sessions of no more than 45 minutes each. For each session, tell me exactly what to tackle, what supplies to bring, what to throw away, and what to save for later. Make the plan realistic for someone who wants steady progress without exhaustion.
Prompt: Make a weekly meal and grocery plan simple
Copy and paste this:
Act as a meal-planning assistant for Sandra, a 65-year-old cooking for herself and her husband who both want easy dinners and fewer grocery store trips. Build a 7-day dinner plan using chicken, eggs, pasta, ground turkey, beans, spinach, carrots, apples, rice, and potatoes. Keep the meals simple, use overlapping ingredients, and make sure at least three dinners take 30 minutes or less. Then create a grocery list grouped by aisle and include a “use first” note for ingredients that might spoil quickly, like spinach and apples.
Prompt: Prepare for a trip with a complete packing and checklist plan
Copy and paste this:
Act as a travel planning assistant for Helen, a 68-year-old flying from Phoenix to Asheville for a 5-day visit with her brother. Her flight leaves at 8:15 AM on September 14, and she wants a calm, organized packing plan that prevents forgotten items. Create a packing list for clothes, toiletries, medications, chargers, travel documents, and comfort items, then turn it into a three-part checklist: 3 days before, the night before, and the morning of departure. Include reminders for carry-on essentials, airport security items, and one backup plan in case her luggage is delayed.
