Release Notes
I’m really excited to present to you our first object release, a folding fan designed by Ghikhan Blossfeld-Lau.
‘RENEW’ came from the feeling of being fanned in the club by a stranger, a deep act of collective care on the dance floor. The folding fan is a symbol we hold near to our hearts and we felt it was important to propose a design for the object that pushes boundaries with form and material.
We worked with a fan maker in Jing County (泾县), CN that specializes in metal to create this folding fan composed of a sandblasted aluminum body, stainless steel blades, and silk-blend damask fabric.
