Just Make Shit - Manifesto
Weird Tales from the Old Skull

There is this “Make Your Own Manifesto” Jam going on on itch.io, created by Jellyfishlines, that got my attention, and I suddenly had this urge to write a little manifesto about how I make my stuff, and what is important to me in that process. And the title that came to my mind was too funny not to pursue too.
So here I am writing my TTRPG Manifesto, called “Just Make Shit”. It’s inspired by my own experience with making shit, I mean, games, art, music, and anything else, while trying to navigate this life thing that gets in our way. And it steals from many other creators who have shared their wisdom with us in many forms. So thanks everyone for sharing their experiences and tips, as well as a special thanks to Austin Kleon (for their trilogy of books on creativity and making shit), Steven Pressfield (for their War of Art book and the concept of Resistance), Rick Rubin (for the amazing The Creative Act), Ryan Holiday (for his amazing books on Stoicism, and for introducing me to the masters of yore and their wisdom), Mark Manson (I think I heard from Stoicism from the first time from his book The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck, and I can’t help but think this “Just Make Shit” way of writing this manifesto draws from this approach), and many others which I already feel the anxiety of forgetting their names, so I apologize in advance.
