Happy August! I hope everyone's had a pleasant and fulfilling summer so far.

With cases continuing to rise and the Delta variant an increasing concern, it's clear that now isn't the time to return to in-person socials as I was hoping. Since folks are generally busier in the summer and interest in the virtual meetups has been waning anyway, we're taking a little break instead.

So no social in August, and let's wait and see what happens next month.

Although there's no scheduled gathering, I'm always open to hanging out one-on-one, either virtually or in person if you're local and vaccinated. Feel free to respond to this email or reach out any time if you'd like to set something up.
