Hi!
Been a while, hope you’re doing well! Maybe you’re getting some sun and enjoying some time outdoors? These two have fired up the grill already.

Gone uploadin’

It is spring cleaning time, which for me always means dusting off my backups and making sure precious data isn't at risk of plummeting into the abyss. As I was going through old hard drives, I realized two things. One: I sure do love collecting pictures of melons. And two: boy, is there a lot of music I never properly released!
That turned into a fun project to chip away at over the course of about a month. I set out to create covers for all material, properly master, name and timestamp everything and upload it all to YouTube.
I might at some point toss all of these on Apple Music, Spotify and the like. For now, though, feel free to browse through the channel and see if you find any gems.
Ultimate IndieMash
On the 24th of May, I'll be part of the Sickhouse Ultimate IndieMash 2025! This is an online event where 10 people show an interactive project they've been working on, like games, art installations and more.
I will be talking about Globoform, about the episodes already online, but also showing some things nobody has seen yet! (Episode 6? Back on the menu? Tune in and see!)

We'll play some games with the audience and the other creators and you can vote?? It's kind of like a Nintendo Direct meets Eurovision, but without the colonial propaganda and with way more non-binary people.
Come hang out in the chat when it streams live on May 24, at 8:00PM CEST!
Robert’s Recipe Corner: Chicken soup
Hello and welcome to a new recurring segment on nuel news! I'm Robert and this is my corner of recipes. Today's recipe is a simple chicken soup.
Now, I know a lot of you might be reading this and thinking: Robert! Chicken soup! What kind of amateur hour is this? But, dear reader, as with many things in life, starting small is nothing to be ashamed of. Better to meet yourself where you're at, than to pointlessly stretch beyond your limits. Trust your own capacity to learn and grow over time.
It's always tempting to look at your life with regret. To never forgive yourself. To punish yourself and call it a challenge. But today, reader, we regard ourselves with gratitude. We take a medium diced onion, some carrots, celery and leek and sautée them in olive oil. After about 5 minutes, we'll season them to taste and stir another minute.
Then we'll add thyme, garlic, rosemary sprigs, bay leaf, chicken or mushroom broth (either pre-made or from a stock cube is fine) and lastly chicken or marinated tofu for a vegan alternative. Bring this to a boil, then simmer for at least 15 minutes.
If you used chicken, remove it from the pot and shred it using two forks. Then return it to the pot and simmer a moment longer. Garnish with some fresh parsley and black pepper before serving.
Take it, enjoy it, maybe call a friend and invite them over to enjoy a bowl together. You are loved and you deserve love. I'll see you next time.
