Welcome to our very first The Pantry article, where we share recipes that we crafted ourselves, with random ingredients lying around! The point of The Pantry articles is to help you utilize random ingredients around the house, by turning them into 5-star delicacies.
Whilst a Lustrous Peach Smoothie may seem like immensely unhealthy, time-consuming and not worthwhile, we assure you it’s none of those things. By using random ingredients lying around, we’ve created a peach milkshake you’ll never forget.
LUSTROUS PEACH SMOOTHIE
This lustrous peach smoothie is sure to add a touch of elegance yet an aura of casualness to any event, party or random get-together. With no added sugar, sharp flavor profiles and a thick, creamy milkshake-like texture, you’re sure to be more than happy - rather ecstatic, euphoric or rapturous. Read the recipe and unlock a universe of potential!
INGREDIENTS (MAKES 3-4 CUPS):
A small amount of milk - about one and a half tablespoons - if it turns out too thick, you can always add more. Don’t add too much milk, or it will get too watery and lose its naturally sweet flavor. If you add a bit less than needed, that’s fine too - you can always add more.
An even smaller amount of water - if you’ve added too much milk, don’t also add the water. However, a balance between milk and water within a smoothie is always good, to make sure it doesn’t become too thick or thin.
Two full-size peaches - whether the size of each peach is large or extra large, it doesn’t matter too much. Slice all four halves into further sixths, and spoon stones out if necessary. For a faster blending process, slice peaches more finely and into smaller pieces. There’s no need to peel the skin off - the blender will blend it into the smoothie, and it will not affect the taste or texture.

A few slices of frozen banana - peaches alone just wouldn’t work. The banana acts as a natural sweetening agent, and also becomes the smoothie’s main source of vitamins. If you do not have any frozen banana, unfrozen banana will work too - if you have the option, choose frozen banana as it will also make the smoothie slightly colder.
METHOD:
All you really have to do is throw these ingredients into the blender. However, ensure you add all liquids first, then add any fruit to the mix.
PREP TIME:
Usually, this process takes about 5 minutes, or 6 if you like your smoothies blended more than normal. Do not try this recipe without a blender - it is likely it’ll take many more minutes if you do this.
Once you’ve made the smoothie, sit back and enjoy the succulent, natural flavors bursting from your homemade, preservative-free smoothie.
