Immerse yourself in a personal review about sleeping under the stars
Recently, I went on a camping trip in Kent, England - what waited for me there was something beyond something Iβve ever done.
Stargazing and then subsequently sleeping under the stars was an unforgettable experience. In the middle of a vast range of tall trees, everything in the sky could be seen. Iβll never forget watching stars gleam with unparalleled power, the energy never ceasing. It was a beautiful and spectacular array, which I personally found to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
It was like an amazing painting, brought into life and onto the sky, multiplied by four in its glory and then upgraded once more - in other words, insanely phenomenal.
Moonlight bathed the landscape area in a quiet, soft atmosphere - slowly chewing at the surface, brightening and empowering everything it touches, creating a scenic, calm and peaceful environment.
When I first was notified about this unusual sleeping experience, I must say anticipation and excitement started fighting with each other, creating an unstable, interesting structure of feelings. On one hand, letting the starlight swirl around us in every single direction was surely going to be phenomenal - on the contrary, it could be like being exposed to endless darkness if the stars were to fade away.
When we arrived, bugs dominated the land. Arachnids of all sizes, insects of all types and red ants (all the same size) were crawling over every single square meter of land. At the moment of seeing this, I made a mental note: Make sure we somehow manage to evade these pests.
To sleep under the stars properly, however, I needed to construct a tent that would hold and provide shelter for the entire night. Using just one piece of tarp, a few pegs and some string, I constructed (with two friends) an impeccable shelter, which I happily report held for the entire night, and we evaded all rain that occurred. We also utilized thin mats to try and clear away the dry, crunchy leaves and we blocked the bugs - mostly.
At dawn, as the sunlight pierced through everywhere, we woke up with a βsuccessβ sensation - it was one of the most triumphant moments Iβd ever experienced.
I would sincerely recommend sleeping under the stars - no matter how many insects and arachnids infest the forest floors, the experience would outdo creatures any day.
